At Anishare (“we” / “us”), we respect the privacy of our users of anishare.co (“the Platform”). By using the Platform, you are agreeing to both this policy and the Anishare Terms of Service. If you do not agree, then you can not and should not use Anishare Platform.

Generally, no personally identifiable information e.g. name, email, is automatically collected by Anishare from visiting the platform. Non-personal information that is automatically collected includes: IP address, type of device, browser, and operating system used, pages visited, and time spent on pages. To do this, we use the services of Plausible Analytics, and we encourage you to review their data policy.

If you create an account on the platform, then we collect a username and email address, among other optional information for your profile that you must manually provide. We may collect information about content and users you interact with across the Platform, generally used to enhance your experience. Personally identifiable information will never be sold or leased to third parties, but used solely by Anishare for business purposes.

With your permission and acceptance, we may use your contact information to send you information about Anishare. You may opt out of promotional or general notification communications, but not out of account lifecycle communications like verification code emails, for example.

The Platform uses cookies

• anishare-session which holds the identifier for the session of the currently logged in user. Expires after 30 days and is automatically renewed close to expiry if the user is active.
• anishare-session.sig which holds a digital signature of the session identifier from the previous cookie to prevent unauthorized tampering of the cookie. Same expiry policy as the cookie above.
• as well as other entries in local storage for information like your username, or site preferences.

As a user of the Platform, you are responsible for the content that you publish. Since it is visible to other users, whatever you voluntarily disclose will be available for other users to see and potentially collect. Please use caution when communicating with others or publishing content on the Platform.

Generally, we retain your personal data until you delete components of it, or request to delete your account entirely.

This privacy policy may change from time to time and it is your responsibility to review this document to which you are bound, as continued use of the Platform after revisions means that they are applicable to you.
